Main Concept
Students need to manage the completion of work in a timely fashion
Show students the Time Check icon. The teacher can use this icon at different intervals during the lesson to highlight to students whether they are keeping up with other students. Students need to work at a speed that is not so fast that simple errors may occur, or so slow that they are not keeping up and falling behind. It is anticipated that students will learn to use this independently with practice.
The overall objective is to keep the class working at approximately the same pace. If an individual student is observed to be falling behind, they can be encouraged to use the Forgotten? card’s steps.
