To download information students need to be switched on and listening
Students may experience difficulty downloading information. In order for the student to successfully attend, hold and manipulate information, they need to internalise the information in an effortful, conscious fashion.
- What sort of school information can you download?
- What will happen to your brain when the information is downloaded? (Reference main Memory Mates icon as petal has lit up).
- What sort of things do you download from a computer (e.g. games, music and photos)?
Switch On, Listen and Download are separate and also interdependent. All three key strategies link to attention and working memory.
